This artistic project will allow blind and visually impaired people to discover their favourite singers' visage through a tactile image raised in relief coming from a innovative photographic procedure.

Our purpose is to create the first photographic and musical exhibition for blind. The first exposition will take place in Paris on October 2007 and it will be then organised in the other main French cities and abroad for a whole year. Since this sensorial photographic exposition deals with sight, touch and hearing, it will be tactile, visual and auditory.

International artist and photographer, Vincent DE MARLY cooperates with many fashion magazines and he immortalizes in the press the most famous personalities… Being deeply involved in the fight against visual impairment, he worked for 2 years on the project in order to initiate 12 blind-born children to read his works raised in relief.

Alchemist and eclectic, he tests his new procedure and he carries out these children's portrait on metal plates: they are able to find out their own portrait and their friends' ones among all the others.

The first partners of the project are the Maeght Gallery, the French association of blind children's parents (ANPEA), the Mairie de Paris, « l'Olympia », Music live productions, Digitagent and PhotoSlimited.

Toucher pour rêver : 1ère exposition photographique pour aveugles et mal voyants

Un projet sensoriel et photographique pour permettre aux enfants non-voyants d'identifier les artistes de la chanson internationale.

Aujourd'hui la France compte environ 60 000 non-voyants et chaque année 4000 enfants naissent privés de vue.

Solidaire et artistique, ce projet va permettre aux personnes non-voyantes ou à handicap visuel de découvrir le visage de leurs chanteurs préférés au travers d'une image tactile réalisée à partir d'un procédé photographique innovant.

Notre ambition est de créer la première exposition photographique et musicale pour aveugles ou personnes à déficience visuelle. La première exposition aura lieu en Octobre à Paris et devrait tourner en province et à l'étranger pendant un an. Cette exposition photographique sensorielle est au coeur des sens de la vue, du toucher et de l'ouie. Elle sera tactile, visuelle et auditive.

Artiste et photographe international, Vincent DE MARLY collabore avec de nombreux magazines de mode et immortalise sur le papier les personnalités les plus variées… Intéressé par la cécité visuelle, il travaille depuis deux ans sur le projet d'initier douze enfants non-voyants de naissance à lire son travail photographique en relief.* *Touche à tout et alchimiste, il expérimente avec son procédé original, leur portrait en demi-bosse sur des plaques de métal. Les gravures mélangées sous leurs doigts, ces enfants peuvent identifier leur propre visage et celui de leurs camarades.
